AnaCardio

Acute heart failure is the most common cause of hospitalization. Chronic heart failure (leading to worsening and thus acute heart failure) is among the most common causes of death. AnaCardio has tested an intravenous endogenous peptide hormone “X” in a phase IIa 30-patient double-blind RCT in advanced/acute heart failure and observed a 28% increase in cardiac output without the aforementioned safety concerns.
