”Everyone will face death, but yet, we rarely talk about it”

Professor Carol Tishelman (Department of Learning, Informatics and Management and Ethics), runs the Döbra project to raise issues about everyday existentialism. Death is something we rarely talk about today. Therefore, many people are not prepared to encounter with death. The DöBra pack of cards can be used as a tool to help people talk about the most difficult thing, the end of your life. The project comes from an interdisciplinary research program at Karolinska Institutet and is currently used by healthcare professionals. The project has become a model for the work with social innovations at KI Innovations by improving the structures around the support for social innovations.
