Karolinska Institutet research team pioneering the search for a new therapeutic strategy for Huntington disease

A research team at Karolinska Institutet has developed a novel strategy for Huntington’s disease treatment using novel oligonucleotides directly targeting Huntingtin (HTT) trinucleotide repeat DNA1 sequences, the underlying molecular defect that causes this devastating neurological disease.
